Raised in the same place that the Spanish assigned to the parish and the royal houses of the city. Its origins date back to 1525. Built of wood. Adobe and tile roof, this is the climate and the climatic elements.



The current building project was carried out by Don Lucio Uribe, with plans made by Don Longino Banda. The work was requested by Canon Don José Ramón Arzac. His performance took place very slowly, changing the original design.

The facade is very simple, with a single nave protected by the towers on both sides. The access is framed by Ionic arches, on each side, with columns of columns, a capital adorned with volutes and an entablature with denticles and on the cornice a balustrade flanked by the glass-shaped portions.



Above the access there is a coral arch with a low arch with flowers that rests on pilasters with reliefs.



In the upper part, separated by the establishment, there is a small boy's drum topped by a cross.

















Located on Reforma street no. 21, Colonia Centro, Colima, Mexico.





On the outside it presents an atrium of square pilasters with finials connected with colonial heritage, with its twin towers and its great dome predominating, currently the tallest buildings in the entire city.
