The family-run Angus Hotel is only 10 minutes’ walk from Carlisle town centre, 1 mile from Carlisle Rail Station and 1.6 miles from Kingstown Business Park.
The building itself dates back to the 1850’s, so has plenty of charm and character retaining many original features. All rooms are equipped with free WiFi, a flat-screen TV, a hairdryer, tea/coffee making facilities and an en-suite bathroom.

This cosy, small 14-bedroom hotel was built in the 1880s and is in the Stanwix part of the city where the Romans had a command headquarters for 1,000 cavalry, so the hotel's foundations are literally on Hadrian's Wall.
