Only a 2-minute drive from Unzen Jigoku Hell, Azumaen offers accommodations with tatami (woven-straw) floors. Guests can relax in the indoor/outdoor hot-spring baths and enjoy views of the traditional on-site garden. JR Isahaya Train Station is a 1-hour drive away.
Guests can sleep in Japanese futon bedding on tatami (woven-straw) floors or on Western beds. All air-conditioned rooms feature a TV and a fridge, while Japanese Yukata robes are provided for each guest. The en suite bathroom comes with a hairdryer and slippers. Some rooms come with a private cypress bath or feature views of Lake Oshidori.
