It is an artisan market with woolen fabrics, basketry, wood crafts, leather, shells and metals. It is also a market for marine products and farmhouses. Numerous boats arrive at this place bringing locals from different towns near Puerto Montt, to market their products.
In the neighboring kitchens you can taste typical dishes such as: ´´cancatos and curantos en olla´´. There are also stalls selling honey, butter cheese, wild fruit syrups, seafood, and fresh and dried fish.
