Located in Rio Caldo, Casa da Terra offers a natural setting within Peneda-Gerês National Park. The surrounding area offers many hiking tracks and the Caniçada Dam is 1 minute walking.
Offering views of the dam, this single-storey bungalow includes a fully equipped kitchen to prepare meals. The living room includes a fireplace and a hammock, in addition to plush sofas and a 6-seater dining table.
Casa da Terra includes exposed stone walls and wooden beams on the ceiling. An outdoor small shed with a barbecue is also available for guests’ use.
Guests can walk in the surrounding area and find many of the local species, as the wild horses (garranos). The dam offers plenty of water sports activities and river beaches to explore.
The border with Spain is a 30-minute drive, and Braga is 42 km away. Guimarães, the birthplace of Portugal, is 44 km from Casa da Terra.
