The Cabo Pulmo National Park is one of the most important areas of the Sea of ​​Cortez region and this importance lies in the large number of marine species that inhabit the place and in that the only living coral reef in its waters is located. the northernmost part of the continent.

Because this park is mainly dedicated to the conservation of marine flora and fauna, it does not have an important tourist development but it does have a fairly well-equipped hotel with restaurant, bungalows, and rooms.





Cabo Pulmo is located 63 km northeast of the city of San José del Cabo, take the Transpeninsular Highway number 1 towards La Paz to the community of Las Cuevas, where you take another paved road that leads to the town of La Ribera; just before arriving at La Ribera there is another deviation that takes about 10 kilometers of pavement and then turns into a dirt road; this road of approximately 17 km which borders the coastline leads directly to Cabo Pulmo.





It is highly recommended for lovers of ecotourism, snorkeling and divers because you can see the whale shark, humpback whales, flying manta rays and colonies of sea lions among many other species.
