Dating back to the 16th century, the George houses 6 comfortable en suite rooms above a renowned pub; an entry for the Good Beer Guide 2014, it serves a range of cask ales and a varied pub menu. Food is served between 12.00 and 21.00. Breakfast is available from 08:30 until 09:30. This hotel is set above a traditional public house catering for tourists and walkers alike.
The hotel is not recommended as a base for business people, as early morning traffic to the cities can be congested.
