Holiday home Spreewald Schmogrowfehrow
As the last house in the (dead end) street Haus Herden forms an access gate to a stretched out forest area which stretches out for a few square kilometres and was at the time of the DDR prohibited border region through which it remained totally untainted. The 4-6 pers. detached lies on the estate of the landlord and will be occupied by you only. From the outside it has been entirely pulled up from wood and had been transformed lately by the landlord into a pleasant accommodation. Not only the hiking lover will meet his demands here. but the surroundings has also a lot to offer to the family. One can rent a canoe or boat in Burg-Spreewald (5 km.) and sail for kilometres through this alternating landscape. The area belongs to the longest uninterrupted water network of Europe which takes you. amongst others. along the splendid Lehde which is also called the Giethoorn of Germany. Besides that. excursions to Poland. the event centre Tropical Islands or to cities as Berlin and Dresden are made within the hour. At the end of the day you can enjoy the last sunshine in all calmness on the terrace with garden furniture and barbeque. but also stretch your legs on the rentable bicycles. which is due to the flat but still alternating landscape highly recommendable. In short. an accommodation which has everything to offer what one needs.
