Nestled within 50 acres of beautiful, untouched forest, the 5-star, adult only Huon Valley Eco Wilderness Retreat boasts incredible views over the Huon valley and River. It is 30 minutes' drive from Hobart's CBD.
The retreat features a 14' feet heated swim spa, for your private use, a massage chair and a foot massage bath. Shamanic healing and full body massages can be arranged. This Eco-friendly property generates it's own electricity. It offers solar-powered hot water, hydronic heating and a chemical-free waste water management system.
Guests can relax alongside the fire pit, or enjoy an outdoor meal using the pizza oven and BBQ. On arrival, guest are treated to a welcoming drink, and a complimentary bottle of wine or Champagne. Your stay includes full English breakfast.
A flat screen TV and DVD player, as well as a CD player are offered. There are coffee and tea making facilities and all rooms have a seating area where you can relax.Views of the mountains, river and garden are featured from the large lounge rooms and verandah. Just 3.5 km from Huonville, this retreat is ideally located for visits to nearby attractions and activities, including Hastings Caves, the Tahune Air Walk, jet boat riding and the the famous Apple Shed. Nearby activities include fishing and hiking. There are several nearby wineries and restaurants.
