It also concentrates two of the great architectural works of the city. On 12th street is the Municipal Palace, and on 14th street is the cathedral.
Every year the anniversary of the city is celebrated there, with free recitals and fireworks.
Plaza Moreno is located in the city of La Plata (head of the homonymous party), Province of Buenos Aires, Argentine Republic. It is located between streets 50, 54, 12 and 14.
This square is the main one in the city, occupying the official center of the same and this being the place where the founding ceremony of La Plata took place on November 19, 1882. It is one of the largest squares in Argentina with almost 8 hectares.
