Described as the "Great Lady of the Algarve", the Oceânico Old Course is one of the oldest and most popular golf courses in the country. Renovated and modernized in 1996, it still retains its original design. Its green fairways are meticulously manicured by a sophisticated irrigation system and managed in a sustainable manner according to strict environmental protection practices. The leafy pine forest is the business card of this field - and potentially its greatest challenge. In 2009, the Old Course was ranked in the Top 100 of the Continental European Golf Courses by Golf World UK. It is undoubtedly a fabulous venue for an unforgettable game.
