Phang-nga or Phang-nga Bay is one of Thailand's most visited marine national parks.
With an area of 40,000 square kilometers, it consists of over 40 islands, large and small, located northeast of Phuket.
It is almost like an inland lake with its land-locked east, north and west, and partly enclosed south.
The sea is quite shallow with an average depth of a few meters. The park is therefore a safe place to visit all year round.
The waves never reach one meter in height, even in the monsoon months from May to October, although it is preferable to visit from November to April, because it is when the sky is clear, the sea calm and the trip will not be interrupted by the rain.
