In the Curahuasi district, where the Saywite archaeological complex is located, described by historians as the stone representation of the life system in Tahuantinsuyo.

It is an Inca archaeological complex from the beginning of the 16th century, built of stone, occupying an area of 2 ha. and it is visited by hundreds of tourists and denotes in its granite pieces carved to the smallest detail, the organization and achievements of the different Inca rulers.

Its main attraction is the Saywite monolith, which has an approximate circumference of 11 meters wide by 2.30 high.

The Saywite stone is a large block of granite roughly eleven meters in circumference, four in diameter, and nearly two and a half high, ornamented in its upper half with a series of complex and mysterious figures.

Represents to scale the map of Tahuantinsuyoy has relief drawings of the flora, fauna, topography and customs of the Inca.

The monolith contains more than two hundred phytomorphic and zoomorphic figures, of geographical features and human constructions carved in an apparent disorder and taking advantage of the natural reliefs and depressions of the stone.

Beneath this lithic structure there are wells, channels and stands that lead directly to the town of Concacha, where smaller molds are found with carved surfaces that remind us of the carved stones of Kenqo, in Cusco, and Vilcashuamán, in Ayacucho.

In this monolith a great mountain or sierra is represented, with its peaks, its slopes, one of them quite steep, with its cliffs, with its streams, glacial valleys, river beds from the smallest to the largest, in the part Highest three large lagoons that supply water to all parts, the channels and streams run first through the countryside and then they reach the pampas and go to a rectangular field that is cultivated. In addition, it is said that in the higher parts, the rocks have been transformed into felines, sometimes crouching with the extended limbs and the hind limbs shrunken.
