Oban is also ideally situated as a touring base and some of the finest coastal scenery in the UK is situated just north and south of Oban.
The town itself is also an attractive destination in its own right and there is a varied nightlife throughout the year. The hotel is fully licensed and there is entertainment every weekend during the summer season.
