The child friendly, car free Am Silbersee Holiday Park is on the south bank of the Silbersee. It is in a wooded area. The holiday park is in an undiscovered part of the Kurhessian Mountains. The Lake Silbersee is at the centre of the park.

Detached, country style manor house with a TV and fireplace in the living room. The kitchen is equipped with an oven and microwave. There are three bedrooms and a bathroom with two toilets. Electric heating is available.

You can enjoy bowling, the sauna, the solarium and swimming in the lake or the indoor swimming pool. There is the Fun Court for ball games, sport fields, Jeu de Boules, guided walks, cycle tours and torch-lit processions. You can also enjoy mountain biking, boating on the 10,000 m2 Silbersee, mini golf and a fast ride on the Silbersee toboggan slide. There is archery, a wilderness camp, a labyrinth maze, horse riding and hooded cart tours.

During the winter months you will find complete tranquillity in the holiday park. You will enjoy the pleasure of your warm open fire after a long walk. You can also observe the many animals which come close to the park especially in winter. The Hohe Knull is around 10 km away and is good for winter sports. There are a number of ski-runs and lifts.
