Right by the Welsh border, the 18th-century Wollaston Lodge offers luxurious bed and breakfast in uniquely themed rooms. The boutique accommodation, around 20 minutes’ drive from Shrewsbury, has a garden, terrace, free parking and free WiFi.
Wollaston Lodge has double rooms and a 2-bedroom cottage, attached to the main house but self-contained. All have a flat-screen TV with DVD player, hairdryer and tea and coffee facilities, as well as a bathroom with bath or shower and complementary toiletries.
A full English breakfast is served each morning in The Orangery. The picturesque gardens provide plenty of spaces sit outside and relax with a drink, with breathtaking views across the hills.
Just across the border, the pretty market town of Welshpool is just a 15-minute drive. The spectacular Snowdonia National Park is 45 minutes from Wollaston Lodge.
